SKYLINE AWARD 1993
Library Tower/Central Library Renovation Maguire Thomas Partners
The first Skyline Award was made in the fall of 1993 to Maguire Thomas Partners for their work in creating the Library Tower/Central Library Renovation in downtown Los Angeles. The project renovated and renewed an aging, yet vital institution for citizens from throughout the city. Development of the Library Tower utilizing the airspace of the Central Library allowed that venerable institution to be restored, modernized and expanded into the marvelous space that we now see.
